Paka Apparel, a brand known for incorporating natural technology into its materials, partnered with us to build their eCommerce store from scratch on Shopify. The goal was to create an online store that embodied the brand’s innovative approach and provided an exceptional user experience while optimizing conversion rates.

Challange

Developing Paka Apparel’s eCommerce store from scratch required creating a site that accurately represented the brand’s innovative identity and provided a superior user experience. The site needed to effectively showcase Paka Apparel’s unique products and the natural technology embedded in their materials.

Creating an intuitive navigation structure was crucial for allowing users to explore the product range effortlessly. Given the variety and customization options of Paka Apparel’s offerings, product pages needed to be visually appealing and functionally robust. Additionally, maintaining high-quality visuals without compromising site performance was essential, as high-resolution images were necessary to highlight the unique features of the products.

Our Findings

Our initial assessment highlighted the need for a clean, intuitive navigation structure to enhance user experience. Product pages required interactive elements and customization options to allow customers to fully appreciate the unique features of Paka Apparel’s offerings. The site also needed to be optimized for mobile devices to reduce bounce rates and increase mobile conversions. Integration of marketing and analytics tools was necessary to track performance and drive sales effectively.

Our Solution

We developed a custom Shopify theme that aligned with Paka Apparel’s branding. Interactive product pages were designed to allow customers to explore and configure their apparel with various options, supported by high-resolution images and detailed descriptions. The navigation structure was streamlined with a mega menu and sticky header to improve user flow. The site was fully responsive, providing a seamless experience on all devices, and Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) were implemented to enhance mobile performance. Conversion rate optimization features such as quick view, wish lists, and abandoned cart recovery emails were added. On-page SEO best practices were implemented, and comprehensive analytics were set up to monitor site performance and gather actionable insights.

Results

The new Paka Apparel eCommerce store saw significant improvements post-launch. User engagement increased, with a 34% rise in average session duration and a 26% increase in pages per session. Conversion rates improved by 19% within the first three months, and mobile performance saw a notable boost with a 15% reduction in bounce rates and increased mobile transactions. The client received positive feedback from customers, who appreciated the enhanced user experience and ease of exploring product features. Overall, the project successfully met all objectives, showcasing our ability to deliver a high-performing, visually appealing, and user-friendly eCommerce solution.
